Dear Mr. Sawyer and Mr. Lane
I just can't help but feel a letter to you concerning two of your sales consultants is necessary.

I came in early in the day on Saturday, March 19th. I was just starting my �rounds' of looking at cars. Tyler Speir approached us an introduced himself and asked if we needed anything. We explained we were just getting started at looking around. We then walked around with him and looked at several vehicles before heading off on the 'rounds'.

After going to Mitsubishi (didn't like the sales guy) and driving an Outlander Sport (terrible), and going to Hyundai (really didn't like the sales guy) and driving a Tucson (eh), I knew I was going back to see Tyler at KIA.

We immediately went back to KIA as I wanted to drive both a Sorento and a Sportage. When we returned, it turned out Tyler was already with other customers so we worked with Rich Purdy. Rich went through the vehicles with us and handled the test drives and was truly a great sport (I can be kind of a pain). After a while of questions and answers he showed me a Sportage which blew me away. I was done.

The reason for this letter is that I am a terrible car buying customer. I have had okay experiences and just plain bad experiences. This experience was one I will talk about and remember forever. Our initial contact with Tyler was just really, really great. Tyler was very real and down to earth and genuinely helpful with our questions. And, he was understanding that we had to do a bit of shopping around before we could make a decision. He was totally gracious when we said we'd have go and maybe we'd be back depending on what we found. He gave us his card, thanked us, and off we went.

It was because of Tyler's demeanor and personality that I came back to deal with him. Unfortunately he was already busy with another customer, but that put us in the amazing hands of Rich Purdy. He was a true sport! I am a very pessimistic person, and he really was able to deal with me very well. I had a ball working with him, and that says a lot! He did everything and anything he could to keep things light and jovial, yet still be a salesman. I thoroughly enjoyed working with him.

I am so thrilled with my experience with Rich, it was truly awesome. And, his after-care was warm and humorous. Can't beat that!

I know Rich reassured Tyler that his name was on the sale, but I do believe Rich should receive part of the sale. He really did the work on this deal and he was a gem from start to finish. I will definitely be referring people to Rich, and Tyler, in the future.

I also want to recognize Ryan Mirante of your Finance Department. He was yet another pleasure to work with. So nice and jovial, really finished up the experience with a smile!

Thank you to Rich and Tyler for such a wonderful experience! And please give them the acknowledgements they deserve!

I bought a brand new Corolla on the weekend before the Super Bowl. When I saw the Optima commercial during the Super Bowl I had immediate buyer's remorse. The Optima really caught my attention and I started doing research about Kia and this new Optima model. This only heightened my buyer's remorse after reading all the positive reviews about the Optima and the Kia company in general. I tried for several weeks to convince myself that I could live with the Corolla, this wasn't working out too well. My wife finally convinced me to go into your dealership to just look around. We knew it was destiny that I would try to get a new Optima when we immediately saw the color and model I wanted parked on your lot. I wasn't sure I was going to be able to get it as the Corolla was only three weeks old. Rich Purdy and the management at Kia of Puyallup helped me get the car I truly wanted. The Optima SX is an incredible car and now I find myself looking for excuses to drive it, it's that enjoyable of a driving experience. Our experience at Kia of Puyallup was so positive that my wife is now looking at the possiblilty of getting a used Kia for our 16 year old daughter (instead of a Toyota).

On September 12, 2010 I called about the possibility of trading in our 2004 Kia Sedona, not sure because of being upside down on it. A very pleasant and helpful youg man directed me to apply online (which we were already at your website) and he would call me back with details. This young man DID call me back and said it was doable, so we set up a time of 5:45pm that evening.

We are totally amazed at the customer service and helpfulness that we received. We were stunned that we got to drive home and keep our 2010 Kia Rondo (we love the car!!!) thanks to your 2 employees.

Sorry we keep missing your calls. We are currently in Missoula, MT. We have now driven the car over 600 miles. Mostly freeway driving and climbed a couple of mountain passes. I (Mary Sue) am doing most of the driving following Larry as he drives our motorhome towing our Jeep. I am loving driving the car. It handles very well and the radio, cruise control and AC/heater controls are very easy to operate while traveling at 65/70 miles per hour. We got 37 MPG on the first tank of gas. We couldn't be happier.

We got our first call from the survey last night and gave you and Kia of Puyallup the highest rating.

I want to let all of you know that I am totally and completely satisfied with my auto purchasing experience. Scott Clyburn is a top notch professional saleman. He was so helpful from my first contact with him till my last. Scott went the extra mile to help me by coming all the way to Enumclaw to pick me up to take me to Kia of Puyallup so I can buy my new Kia Sportage. He also told me that I should feel free to call him anytime I have a question or concern about my new car.

I am so happy with my new vehicle. I love the vehicle's looks as well as it's performance. I love that I can come down to have my car washed. It is a good feeling to know that I have a great warrantee and emergency roadside service that is included.

Keegan Willams in the service department gives great and friendly service.

Eugene Quitevis in the parts department was very helpful and answered all my questions that I had for him.

When I came to you as a customer (transfer from another local dealership where I purchased my Kia) I came with a horrible history of extremely bad customer service. Trust was an issue. I must express that since changing I have been so please with your customer service. Your employees are exemplary. The three I deal with most are Karsten - outstanding, Tammy - Great and your cashier Christy - always a smile.

You have earned my trust. Karsten and Tammy are always straight with you. Never pushy. They explain everything. Karsten was worried about my safety and gave me a loaner car while he found the cause of my brake light issue. When I purchase our next Kia, it will definitely be from Kia of Puyallup.

Thank you for thinking of my safety and gaining my trust and a customer for life. It's worth the drive from Lakewood. Great customer service starts with great employees. You have the best!

Just wanted to say that we have just been able to purchase our new 2011 Sorento from Kia of Puyallup, we are very excited about this new suv!! We can't wait to take delivery in about 30 days or so. You should know that the staff and management are just fantastic at this dealership and if there are awards for customer service they should be given one! Also, thank you for keeping the price within reach and the equipment top of the line, this is our second Sorento and it will not be our last. if there is anything that we can do to help promote your company and the Sorento please just ask us and we would be happy to do so. final note, our new Sorento is being built in your newest plant here in the US and for your customers who order from the plant, it would be a nice touch to have the workers know it is a pre sale and maybe went it is complete put a small name plate in the glove box stating the this vehicle was built for (The name of the customer, date by team Kia) anyway just an idea..

I want you to know how extremely impressed I am with the absolutely superior level of customer service I have received every time I visit your Service Department!

I am especially impressed with Tim, who went out of his way and spent over 20 minutes with me on the phone today to help me figure out the speaker wiring for my 2004 Optima EX.

I can honestly say that I have never experienced such positive and outgoing effort from any other company, especially car dealerships, and because of it I will definitely remain a loyal customer. I will also spread the word to every one I know.

I am sure that you will not remember me, but I came to your KIA dealership in January of 2008 and was trying to purchase a Sportage after a major car accident totaled my car.

This past week I saw a Sorento on your lot in the color I wanted as well as a lot of extras that I liked. I went in and spoke to Dominic Porreca. The first thing I noticed was his smile and friendly attitude, he appeared to be genuinely interested in what I was saying. He did not talk too much and we got down to business. I knew what I wanted and I also had in my mind what I wanted to pay. He took my first proposal to the sales manager and came back with a counter offer. I again told him what I wanted to pay monthly and also that I understood how the back and forth banter worked but I did not have time on that day to spend the afternoon negotiating a price. He went to the sales manager a second time and came back with an offer that was very close to what I wanted in the first place, I was pleased and decided to purchase the car.

From that point on everything went smoothly, I was out of there in record time. It took less than two hours from my walking in the front door to my walking out with my new car. Justin, the financial person, was very informative and explained things well, he did not apply pressure as some dealerships do and answered my questions honestly. I want to commend you on a very professional and well trained staff. I have told several people about my latest experience at KIA of Puyallup and how well I was treated. I do like the product and will come back when it is time for another new car.

I wanted to let you know that Dominic was an excellent sales person and that if everyone is as well trained as he is you have an exceptional staff. My job is to train people in customer service skills and your staff is great!

Had a low beam lite go out on my car this morning. Tried to take care of it myself, but failed when I dropped the lite bulb cover down inside the fender well. Called Tammy(sp?) at the service desk who said come on in they would take care of it. I am ashamed I did not catch the techs name who fished the part out and changed my lite bulbs. What a great experience from Tammy and the Tech. GREAT JOB. I came back to work and told all the staff here.

I am writing to thank you for your help and professionalism in our recent purchase of the 08 Kia Sedona. You were very friendly, helpful and informative and we didn't feel pressured into a deal we didn't feel comfortable with. You seemed very knowledgeable about the vehicles we were interested in and about Kia in general. Your explanation of the controls and special features of the Sedona and the new Borrego (what a great vehicle!) were were clear and understandable. When we came in to your store we weren't even sure we would be able to qualify for a deal we could live with. The deal you helped work out for us was almost exactly what we were hoping for.

he dealership facility is very nice too. It's spacious, modern, clean, and has probably one of nicest show rooms and service waiting areas we've experienced.

In all it was a very good experience (over the years we have had many experiences with many different auto dealers over the years so we know). We are very pleased with the deal and the Sedona we purchased.

I just want to express my sincere "thanks" and appreciation, for all of your help and perseverance, in helping us to arrive at the decision to buy the 2006 Sportage EX! We had come to the conclusion to fix the Jimmy, and drive it for a while, when you called and convinced me to "take another look" at buying on the last day of the month! Especially, when that very day, I had paid $878 to put a new fuel injector system in the Jimmy. It took "a lot of consideration" to make the leap! Today I bought my first car from Kia of Puyallup. Phillip, the salesman, was very helpful in making my purchase. He was not like other salesman, who can be rather pushy in trying to get someone to buy a car. In fact, Phillip had a very mellow attitude and an understanding that it is you who is making all decisions.

Lloyd was able to handle details and decisions on the service trucks in Northwest Door, Inc. best interest and made my job a lot easier. I know our Tacoma Installation Division Manager is pleased with the vehicles, and service.

Working with Phillip made my car shopping/purchase experience pain free.

With all that said, I highly recommend asking for Phillip when you shop for a car at Kia of Puyallup.
