When can you buy the 2019 Kia Forte?
Releasing a car is a little different than releasing a movie. Cars tend to arrive at dealerships early or late depending on shipping conditions and locations, so there is rarely a solid release date for a car. However, we do have a pretty good estimate for the Kia Forte.
Currently, the all-new 2019 Kia Forte is expected to arrive on dealership lots in mid to late September. If you want the first crack at a 2019 Forte, and we don’t blame you, then feel free to reach out to your local dealer soon. Kia Puyallup in Washington is ready to help customers from all the surrounding areas including Tacoma. Check our new Forte inventory today or reach out to us using the links below.
What new features are expected for the 2019 Kia Forte?

New Kia Forte infotainment system
Infotainment systems are becoming the star feature of many cars, and Kia took this very seriously. The Forte will be getting an 8-inch screen for 2019 which is a size typically reserved for high-line cars. This screen will also have Android Auto and Apple CarPlay functionality. What’s more, it comes standard. Many advanced driver assistance technologies will also come standard.

New Kia Forte transmission
The engines are not expected to change for 2019. However, the transmission is expected to change with the first variable transmission built by Kia. Most manufacturers call this a CVT, but Kia is calling theirs an IVT for Intelligent Variable Transmission. It promises a sporty feel and more responsiveness than a typical CVT. With this new transmission, Kia expects the Forte to be capable of a 35-combined mpg rating on the base FE trim.
