Then just keep reading to learn why so many people are considering the 2019 Sorento for their next SUV.
One of the biggest changes for 2019 is that the Kia Sorento offers seating for 7 passengers standard on every trim level. This means, regardless what trim you find to be perfect for you, it will also be the perfect size for a growing family. In all, there are 6 trim levels available for 2019. At the top of the lineup you have the SX Limited, and it goes down from there with the SX, EX V6, LX V6, LX, and the base model L.
Curious about performance options? The Sorento provides all the performance you could ever need. Not only is there a 185-horsepower engine that comes standard on the L and LX trims, but higher trims all receive a 290 horsepower V6 engine standard. If towing is a big concern for you, then that 4-cylinder engine provides 2,000 pounds of towing capacity, and the V6 provides even more with 3,500 pounds of towing capacity. What’s more, every trim above the L is also available with AWD!
The Sorento is clearly capable, but how efficient is it? The L and LX models get 22-city mpg and 29-highway mpg. If you opt for AWD in the LX, then you still get impressive fuel economy with 21-city mpg and 26-highway mpg. Do you want the power of that V6 engine? Then you still get impressive fuel economy with 19-city mpg and 26-highway mpg in FWD and 19-city mpg and 24-highway mpg in AWD configurations.
When it comes to luxury, the Sorento doesn’t disappoint. You can have the Sorento in leather at the EX V6 and SX trims, and it comes in premium Nappa leather on the SX Limited trim. Looking for a panoramic sunroof? One is available on the EX V6 and comes standard on the SX and SX Limited. Want a Smart Power Liftgate? The Sorento has one of those too on the EX V6 and above.
